Sangiovese

The Sangiovese grape has ancient uncertain origins and the origin of the name is even more unsure, and it is a grape that significantly changes its characteristics depending on the climate and altitude at which it is planted. The Sangiovese grape variety comes in two distinct types: the Sangiovese Grosso, cultivated in Tuscany and includes the Brunello and the Prugnolo Gentile and a Sangiovese piccolo, small, which is widely planted both in Tuscany and outside, and includes the Morellino di Scanzano.
